Happy Valentines Day!!!

Happy Valentines Day!  We are so blessed to have this little sweetheart!  What a celebration of life and love and her precious little heart.

Chinese New Year! Gong Hey Fat Choy!!!

This is our first Chinese New Year celebrating with Ingrid!  We had friends and family over who had also adopted a child from China.  The kids all played, we talked about our adoptions, and we ate congee and lotus candy!  Here's some snapshots of Ingrid in her outfits.  We bought the red one for her at a market and the blue one was a gift from the family that was gracious in taking in Noah in Hong Kong. 

She had a ball running around in her red outfit until she spilled milk all over it.

 It was almost impossible to get her to sit still for a picture- so here she is standing, jumping, having a ball!

Busy busy Ingrid

It seems hard to shift from our last post full of such sadness to a new post that is full of hope and promise and life!  We do celebrate the hope and promise that Quinn is with God but really, really miss him.

Today's blog has mostly pictures of our active little 22 month old.  She is
so full of life and energy! Each day she fills our house with laughter and smiles!

He wants her to have good posture so they practice balancing with books, and pans, and boots- all on her head.

They always fall at the end of their dance.  Noah's sweetest girlfriend ever!!!!

Ingrid likes to mess up the Sunday paper- especially Oskar's comics.

Ingrid pretends to hold a microphone by her mouth and shakes her head like she's singing into it.  It's quite funny.  Oskar turns the music way up and they boogie.

Her dance moves include jumping, twirling, nodding her head.  Wild to remember that she wasn't walking in September!

 

 

Ingrid has full control of her brothers...

 

 

She puts her hands in the air and squeals and her brothers follow her commands.  Here's a taste of it on a video.  It was really cute to us at first but now is getting so loud and it can last all through dinner!
